Aimee And Shawn Are Having The Same Parenting Struggles
Parenting is hard. Nobody has all of the answers and if they say they do, they are lying. Once you conquer one thing it’s another. We just officially got to do away with diapers at our house so it was a huge celebration and now we move on to the next. Bathroom stuff seems to take the longest to perfect. ha!
Shawn asked me this morning for some parenting advice and I don’t have it. Maybe you do!
We both have toddlers who do a great job brushing their teeth but they also do a great job swallowing all of the toothpaste. They can’t get the concept of the spitting part. How does one teach their child to spit their yummy toothpaste out and not eat it like candy?
It’s all the bathroom stuff that takes so long to teach your kids. Shawn thinks he’s going to put wasabi on his son’s tongue so that he wants to spit it out. I am going to give my son a target and see if he can spit at it. He is a boy, he loves target practice when it comes to anything. We will keep you posted on who’s idea works better. Maybe if we get the worst toothpaste for them to use they won’t want to swallow it! Trying anything here, folks.
Pray for us.
