Vanderpump Scandal Breakdown For Those Who Don’t Watch

Are you like me? You haven’t ever watched the reality TV show; BRAVO’s Vanderpump Rules – but over the weekend you saw how unwell everyone was because of the cheating scandal and you love drama so you have to catch up. I am here to help you.

Let’s call this Vanderpump scandal breakdown for dummies.

Let me be clear, this cheating has all Bravo fans shook! Let’s have a quick overlook for those of us that are brand new. Vanderpump Rules is a reality TV show that airs on bravo starring Lisa Vanderpump from Real House Wives Of Beverly Hills. The show has been following the lives of her and the staff of her restaurants and bars. The show has been on since 2013!

The three that are at the center of this drama are Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Raquel Leviss. Tom has been dating Ariana Madix for about 9 years now and they met on the show. He has been on the show since season 1 and Ariana has been on season 2. They started dating shortly after Ariana joined the show and they seemed to be a super cute, happy couple. They bought a house and were the couple that everyone ‘believed in’.

Raquel Leviss joined the show season 6 and became both costar and friends with Tom and Ariana. That is until a few days ago when Ariana found text messages shared between Tom and Raquel (including some dirty texts). We have found out over the last few days that Raquel and Tom have been sleeping together for about 6 months and Tom and Ariana have split up because of it. Season 10 of Vanderpump is airing right now and they weren’t filming when Ariana found out but BRAVO cameras were quick to start filming and the drama unfolding right now should be able to be seen the end of this season.

Tom has since apologized on an Instagram post but nowhere in his letter did he apologize to Ariana.

Raquel has also hooked up with Tom’s best friend and business partner, another Tom, Tom Schwartz. She seems to me like a big villain and the internet is going nuts.

Yes, he even dressed up like Raquel for Halloween this past year WHILE HE WAS HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH HER! They both have been seen wearing lightning-strike pendant necklaces… and that seems too much of a coincidence to me. The more times goes on more old clips are being shared and I. Am. Here. For. Them.

Aimee Thomas is the morning show co-host of Aimee + Shawn on 102.7 VGS. She has been VGS since the birth of the station in 2022 and has been with Beasley Media Group for nine years doing mornings at various stations in the cluster. Before working in radio Aimee was a bartender at a local restaurant in Las Vegas when a local radio veteran thought she would be perfect in radio because of her crazy stories, knowledge of pop culture, and contagious laugh. Aimee loves writing about new recipes she creates in her kitchen, her favorite artists and actors, and being a mom of two boys.

Here’s What You Missed On Aimee+Shawn This Week

That’s the end of another week on Aimee+Shawn and man are our… legs… tired.

On Monday, Shawn, 102.7 VGS afternoon host Sammi and several other members of the Beasley Media Group family laced up their shoes and headed to The STRAT. The group went up 1,455 steps to go from the bottom to the top of the famed Las Vegas landmark for Scale The STRAT benefitting the American Lung Association. Shawn did finish but it turns out he was one of the slowest times of the day. 602nd out of 622 competitors. Yikes.

The showing for Shawn was so bad, he finally broke. With Aimee on her keto kick, and Sammi planning to get fit and try out to be a Raiderette, Shawn (who was the one person on the staff that really needs to get healthier) decided to get on board.

Aimee couldn’t make the event (but she climbed every step last week). Instead she went out to Mesquite for her son’s football tournament. That tournament turned out to be a big, dramatic disaster that had fists flying, parking lots inescapable, and more insanity.

Meanwhile, Aimee’s friend is going to inherit some property… but that friend’s wife is already calling dibs, and that friend’s parents aren’t quite dead yet. Awkward.

The show also took on the biggest issue going on behind the scenes at 102.7 VGS… reply all emailers. The ones that find it necessary to send “Thanks!” to 112 fellow employees.

Finally, in a heartwarming moment, Aimee+Shawn read a book to all the schools at once for Nevada Reading Week.
