Fill A Truck At Tropicana Liquidation Sale This Weekend
After nearly 67 years on the Las Vegas Strip, the Tropicana Las Vegas is no longer open for business. As a matter of fact, it will soon be flattened to make way for the Athletics’ new stadium and a new casino. The Tropicana liquidation sale was a big event over the weekend, but there is still a whole bunch more to clear out.
So it’s time to rent a truck.
Tropicana Liquidation Sale Dares You To Fill A Truck For As Little As $25
Take it all, whatever you can haul. That’s the policy this Saturday and Sunday, May 25th and 26th. The property will be allowing people with a pick-up truck to fill it to the brim for $25, and those with a box truck to fill for just $100. If you’re just wanting to look around, $20 will be the price of entry.
You’ll need to bring help that is 18 or over and ready to haul away whatever it is you want that day. This could be a huge get for people who know what to look for.
What Is Left Over From The Tropicana Liquidation Sale?
While last weekend’s sale featured some pretty awesome big ticket items like a slew of audio visual equipment, this weekend is more about the surplus stuff.
Everything from chairs (be it banquet or pool deck) to linens, a baby grand piano to furniture and wall art. There is a lot of swag still left to be had, and the Tropicana wants it out of there so they can bulldoze the place without any regrets.
Ironically, once the liquidation sale is complete and the Tropicana is imploded or destroyed completely this fall, the Major League Baseball equivalent of a liquidation sale is preparing to move in. The Oakland Athletics are the lowest spending team in the league by around $20 million.
