Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! Children of all ages! “The Greatest Show On Earth” is coming back to Las Vegas with a new look. That’s right, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is making its triumphant return! At least most of it.

You may have incredibly fond memories of Ringling coming to town as a kid. Frankly, many generations have those memories. But in 2017, after 146 years of touring, the highly esteemed circus tour made its final stop.

Why did Ringling Bros. stop in the first place?

While it was a heck of a run, the use of animals during its act was being frowned upon by audiences more and more. Movies like “Blackfish” and news articles shed a bad light on animals being used as entertainment.

So if there are no elephants… what will Ringling Bros. do when they come to Las Vegas?

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey CircusAll that money they are saving on pooper scoopers for the animals is going to good use! This reimagined spectacle will be bringing in performers from all over the world that will stun audiences with incredible aerial acts, bicycles, highwire and trapeze and more – all in the round!

There’ll be BMX bikes, trial bikes and even unicyclists being bounced into the sky in the Extreme Box Jump Trampoline, and even incredible lights and sound effects that will immerse the audience in a way Ringling Bros has never done before.

Things get underway when Ringling Bros. restarts their legacy in September, but a Las Vegas date is in the works – likely in 2024. While it may not be the circus we remember as a kid, but “different” doesn’t mean bad. For a whole new generation of kids, they are about to get their first taste of all the wonder of Ringling… and we are here for it.
