Katy Perry Hitting ‘Stop’ On ‘Play’ Las Vegas Residency

Since late 2021, Katy Perry has been “Waking Up In Vegas,” likely the night after performing at Resorts World Theatre. Her “Katy Perry: PLAY” Las Vegas residency has been a massive success, bringing a performance so colorful and wild that it leaves fans raving. But all good things must come to an end and Katy’s time is near.

Katy is calling it a day after dozens of confetti laden performances on the north end of the strip. In a statement, Katy said “The last 50 shows in Vegas have just flown by! It’s bittersweet to announce the FINAL 10 shows of ‘PLAY’ ever, but I am so excited to continue bringing this larger than life spectacle through my last date on Nov. 4.”

Perry’s reign in Las Vegas led to her winning a Review-Journal Best Of Las Vegas award for “Best Strip Headliner“. Katy was part of a group of performers that were among the first to play the new venue. She was alongside American Idol cohort Luke Bryan, former Caesars headliner Celine Dion (which never did happen), and Carrie Underwood.

Her show is something like a fever dream and there’s really nothing else like it. So if you’re wanting to get your hands on tickets to one of her final shows, tickets go on sale Friday, April 14th at 10am. Final dates include seven in October (including Halloween night, so that’s sure to be a scene) and November 1st, 3rd and 4th.

Don’t say goodbye just yet though. The pop songstress has a slew of dates between now and then that she’s yet to perform! Dates include April 12th, 14th, and 15th, eight different dates in May including Memorial Day weekend, July 28th and 29th, and six different dates in August.
