Bumble To Add AI To Fight Fake Dating Accounts
I can’t imagine having to be in the dating world right now and be on dating apps but I really couldn’t imagine it if I couldn’t imagine falling in love with someone online and finding out the person wasn’t real or was a scammer. That is what’s happening on dating apps right now. It’s a scary online world but Bumble, one of the leading dating apps, is trying to make it safer and more real for users in their app by adding artificial intelligence (AI) to fight the fake accounts. The AI is designed to detect fake accounts and report them.
The new system operates by analyzing profile photos to find signs of sketchy activity and identify fake identities. Bumble wants to stay ahead of scammers and catfishers, by protecting its users from getting scammed or hurt because of those scammers. Being online in general you can face financial scams, identity theft and emotional manipulation. We have to protect ourselves but it’s nice Bumble is trying as well.
Did you know there are around 1,500 dating apps out there today worldwide at this moment, and this market is projected to reach $9.2 billion by 2025? Insane!
This is something that other dating apps should get behind to further try to protect their users from potential harm.

They didn’t have Bumble on their website as one of the best. They actually had them at one of the worst because of high subscription prices and you have to pay for additional features but I have a feeling with how they are taking care of their subscribers. What are you willing to pay to keep your identity and your funds safe?
If you are on dating services or online doing anything keep yourself safe. Bumble is jumping into AI to at least try!
