Annual Las Vegas Dog Daze Of Summer Event Set To Return

It's almost time for our sweet dogs to beat the summer heat! The annual Las Vegas Dog Daze of Summer event is returning to Sin City.

It’s no secret that all of us local Las Vegans love to hit the pool in the midst of a blazing Sin City summer. But what about our sweet furry friends? Don’t they also deserve to escape the heat and make a splash?

They totally do! And that’s why one of the city’s favorite annual events is set to return as summer comes to a close. The Las Vegas Dog Daze of Summer event is right around the corner, and our pups can hardly wait!

Las Vegas Dog Daze Of Summer Promises A Barking Good Time

Mark your calendars! The Las Vegas Dog Daze of Summer event is scheduled to make its return on Saturday, September 7th from 7:00am to 11:00am at the Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility located towards the central part of the valley.

Depending on your dog’s size, each will be allowed to swim in the pool during the following time frames:

  • Small dogs under 30 pounds – 7:00am to 8:00am
  • Medium dogs from 30 to 65 pounds – 8:30am to 9:30am
  • Large dogs over 65 pounds – 10:00am to 11:00am

Not only will the event allow your precious dogs to beat the heat by taking a dip in the pool, but the Las Vegas Dog Daze of Summer event will also offer super fun raffles for dogs! Those will be located in the outdoor water park. News 3 also reports “…local, dog-friendly businesses will be present to showcase what products and services are available in the area and give away tons of free items to take home.”

What You Need To Know Before You Go

There are a few important steps you need to take before you and your pup show up to the Las Vegas Dog Daze of Summer event.

First, you must pre-register your dog for the event for $7. The registration period will begin on August 8th at 7:00am and will close on September 5th at 8:00pm. Registration can ultimately be completed either in-person at the Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility or online. To register online (starting August 8th), click here. Be sure to register as early as possible, as available spots are expected to fill up quickly!

Also, be sure to gather the proof of your dog’s vaccinations, as the submission of these documents are required in order to enter the Las Vegas Dog Daze of Summer event. For maximum efficiency, your dog’s proof of vaccination(s) and liability waivers can be submitted via email to DesertBreezeAquatics@ClarkCountyNV.gov before the event.
