How To Avoid Paying For Parking At Fashion Show Mall During F1
If you needed another reason to be frustrated with the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix… here’s another one. Fashion Show Mall is about to do something it has never done before: charge for parking. If it were a full time change, it would be a crime. However, it is only during “prime time” for the Formula 1 race.
Parking on Thursday and Friday will run you $40. If you want to park on Saturday (during “race day”), it’ll cost you a cool $75. Ouch.
Chances are you aren’t incredibly thrilled by this, especially if you had any intention of shopping at Fashion Show this Thursday through Saturday. Sure, many of us will be avoiding the race route altogether, and Fashion Show finds itself on the northwest corner of the track.
But rest your weary head… you don’t have to pay. You can avoid the obnoxious charges without having to commit a crime.
Here’s how to avoid paying for parking at Fashion Show during F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
If you’re going to Fashion Show to spend money at Fashion Show, they want you there. So they are willing to waive the fee if you show receipts.
- Spend $100 or more at stores inside Fashion Show before 5pm.
- Spend $100 or more at any of the restaurants within Fashion Show before midnight.
How is that for a novel concept!? If you spend money there, they’ll let you park for free. This is a premise that seems to be lost on nearly the entire Las Vegas Strip hotel casino properties. Free parking for locals usually ends at 3 hours, whether you spent money or not. Went to a concert? You can either stick around and get dinner there, but pay for parking. Or, you know, you can get to your car in time and avoid paying for parking, then eat anywhere else.
So while we hate the idea of charging for parking, we get it Fashion Show. Thank you for being the real MVP and giving us an “out” to avoid the fee. You are forgiven.
The STRAT Charging For Parking - Who Lets Las Vegas Park Free?
Circus Circus Hotel and Casino
Started from the bottom… and this is the bottom. But if you’re looking to bring the kids to Adventuredome, get a delicious meal at THE Steak House (which is a sleeper hit) and have “Slots-A-Fun” you’re gonna park for free while you do it. Parking is free, while valet will set you back a minimum of $12.
Resorts World Las Vegas (They Technically Charge... But It's Easy To Get For Free)
Our first asterisk on the list is Resorts World. Sure, they technically started charging for parking at the beginning of 2023. But to their credit, they allow any Genting Rewards member of any tier to park for free. Almost brilliant to get people to sign up for the free card to get free parking, and now they have a list to market to. We’ll allow it. At least they don’t require us to run our credit to park for free.
SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
Free parking garage AND FREE VALET?! Did we enter a time machine?! SAHARA Las Vegas has some really delicious dining options, hunky men and a gaming floor that doesn’t even remotely resemble its former dilapidated form. Worth a visit!
TI Hotel & Casino
They are so committed to free parking, they put it on their massive sign that faces Interstate 15. The valet is free as well! Sure, they got rid of the pirate show, but for this we’ll forgive them.
Tropicana Las Vegas (With Caveats)
We are going to show some clemency to Tropicana. The poor lil’ fella is surrounded by casinos that charge for parking, an arena and a massive football stadium. Some self-parking is free, while closer lots at $5, and on major event days they get hurt badly (you have people parking there free but not going there at all) they’ll charge non-hotel guests. Fair. Who knows, soon the property might actually be a major stadium of its own.
Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
Love him or hate him, the property that bares former President Donald Trump’s name features free parking. Make America Not Pay For Parking In Las Vegas Again! MANPFPILVA!
