Cheer On The Las Vegas Aces At Henderson Watch Party Sunday
Southern Nevada is one game away from it’s first ever professional sports championship! The City of Henderson is getting in on the action with a free Las Vegas Aces watch party happening this Sunday!
The city announced that Water Street Plaza will be rocking tonight for a WNBA Finals Game 4 watch party. Locals from throughout the valley are encouraged to attend and cheer on the ladies to victory!
The event kicks off at 1pm, just in time for tip-off. There will be prize giveaways, a live DJ to entertain you during commercial breaks and halftime, and more!
Fans are encouraged to bring stuff to make you comfortable, including blankets, lawn chairs and some snacks. If we can’t cheer the ladies on at Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, we can still get together to scream our heads off and party!
The Aces have been on a tear
The Las Vegas Aces have been a force to be reckoned with this season, tied for the best record in the league this season with 26 wins and 10 losses. Under the leadership of head coach Becky Hammon, who herself is a former WNBA player, the team has been a buzz saw.
Game 3 was a definite challenge for the team, playing on the road for the first time in the series. The Connecticut Sun, with their backs against the wall, came out strong and gave the ladies a tough loss. The Sun is 4-0 in elimination games so far this playoff season, and this Sunday the Aces are hoping to deal them a losing hand. Lets get together and cheer so loud they can hear us all the way in Uncasville!
