Today is one of those made-up national holidays that I can totally get behind because it allows me to save money on my favorite kind of bar food, chicken wings! Yep, we hope you’re having a fantastic National Chicken Wing Day!
It’s a fun holiday that, believe it or not, began back in the ’70s (1978) when the mayor of Buffalo declared it so. That means we’ve been celebrating chicken wings for almost 50 years! Of course, so many different chains are running specials today, so if you’ve got dinner on the brain, here are some of the best National Chicken Day deals that we’ve found on the internet today!

Wingstop – The popular chain is offering some free wings with any purchase made through their app or online, but make sure you use their code “FREEWINGS” to get an additional 5 wings for free.
Buffalo Wild Wings – If you prefer BWW over the other guys, you’re going to want to use Buffalo Wild Wings code “GOWINGS” when making your order through their website or app.
Applebee’s – Eating good in the neighborhood doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg, especially since the neighborhood restaurant is offering a BOGO deal if you use their code “WINGDAY24.” Again, you have to order through their app.
Popeyes – I don’t know why, but whenever I think about Popeyes Chicken, I think about that viral clip from the Canadian Family Feud, where the lady completely botches an easy question. Have you seen it? It makes me laugh every time!

Obviously you can head to the Las Vegas Strip at any time when you’re looking for any kind of food. And you’ll always find a plethora of options to satisfy those taste buds. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory sells the most amazing chocolate milkshakes you’ve ever had. So much so that it’s hard to finish one. They’re that rich.
