Travis Kelce: Football Field To T.V. And The Big Screen
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is knee deep in the football season right now but during the off season he was knee deep in doing something new! He’s acting. This week, Travis Kelcy is making his acting debut on Hulu’s new exciting series, “Grotesquerie“, a dark and thrilling horror show that looks like it’s going to keep all of us on the edge of our seats. In the new series, Travis plays a character that is so far from his fun, lighthearted self, which is pretty cool to show off his range of acting showing he can dive into really different things.
That isn’t all Travis Kelce has going on. He landed a cameo in the movie “Happy Gilmore 2”, the sequel to Adam Sandler’s classic Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore has always been one of everyone’s favorites, I’m sure for Travis Kelce it’s up there as well. So being asked to do a cameo in the sequel has to be a pinch me moment for Travis Kelce. Travis is known for his larger than life personality, I am sure he will add some more fun to the Happy Gilmore universe. His charisma will fit seamlessly next to Adam Sandler.
Travis Kelce’s venture into acting is just another way the NFL superstar is becoming an even more prominent cultural figure. From hosting Saturday Night Live earlier this year, the podcast he hosts with his brother, to dating Taylor Swift, it feels like Travis Kelce is everywhere right now and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon.
Whether he’s dominating on the football field or stealing scenes on-screen, Kelce’s presence is undeniable, and this may just be the start of a successful Hollywood crossover.
