Liam Hemsworth On Miley Cyrus Breakup: ‘I Don’t Want To Talk About It’
Over the weekend, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus announced they were splitting after six months of marriage. Now, Hemsworth is breaking his silence over the breakup.
“You don’t understand what it’s like,” Hemsworth reportedly told Daily Mail Australia while stopping for frozen yogurt with his older brother Chris Hemsworth. The Hunger Games actor has reportedly been staying with his brother in Australia.“I don’t want to talk about it, mate.”
His comments come after photos surfaced of Cyrus kissing her friend Kaitlynn Carter, who recently announced her split from husband Brody Jenner. Cyrus is currently on vacation in Italy with Carter and her sister Brandi Cyrus. On Instagram, Cyrus appeared to address the news of her separation, writing, “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once underwater, connected with Africa, change is inevitable.”
The caption ended with her writing, “I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own.”
Hemsworth and Cyrus had been together off and on for over a decade. Their reps released a statement confirming the couple’s split writing, “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.”
