Winter Break Camp Is Great Option For Vegas Kids
Many parents in Las Vegas start to stress out when Winter Break is approaching. But there’s a place in Southern Nevada giving families an inexpensive option where their kids can be safe and have fun.
The Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada is a nonprofit organization in Las Vegas that offers resources and programs for the community’s youth. With 13 locations across the valley, they serve over 7,000 kids every year between the ages of 6 and 18.
The BGCSNV offers classes and programs based on three main mission pillars. Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Good Character & Leadership. Their programs cover a diverse curriculum of topics. Including games, sports, art and music, E-sports and gaming, performing arts, and STEM and STEAM projects.
During the school year, BGCSNV gives local parents the opportunity to have their children in a safe place before and after school. And at prices that rival that of SafeKey. And during the upcoming Winter Break, BGCSNV is offering a Winter Break Camp for local kids. Packed with activities to keep children engaged while they’re out of school.
Winter Break Camp at BGCSNV will go from Monday, December 18 through Friday, December 22.
The camp will be open from 7am to 6pm every day for this first week of Winter Break in Las Vegas. Families can enroll their kids for the entire week for $80. Or there is an option to drop in any of the days at $20 per day. Financial assistance is also available for families in need.
Each club location in the Las Vegas valley has their own camp theme. And there are many to choose from. Including a Hunger Games Camp, a Holiday Village Camp, Santa’s STEAM Workshop Camp, Holiday Movie Extravaganza Camp and a Christmas Grinch Wonderland Camp. There’s also a Home Alone STEAM Camp, a Winter Wonderland Camp and more.
