City Of Henderson Parks & Rec To Host Three Summer Hiring Events
As we brace this cold Las Vegas winter weather, summer beckons with its promise of warm sunshine and outdoor activities. Are you currently looking for work or maybe considering getting a summer job? For those seeking a rewarding and unique summer work opportunity, the City of Henderson is planning to hire for a number of positions for the upcoming summer season. How will they do this? Through three summer hiring events in the month of March!
Upcoming Hiring Events
The City of Henderson is looking to hire more than 200 individuals to fill numerous open positions throughout its Parks & Recreation Department. These roles will include lifeguards, aquatic safety instructors, adaptive recreation, and recreation assistants.
The City of Henderson’s upcoming job fairs will take place at the following locations on the specified dates:
- Saturday, March 2nd – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Henderson Multigenerational Center (250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.)
- Saturday, March 9th – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Black Mountain Recreation Center (599 Greenway Rd.)
- Saturday, March 23rd – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Whitney Ranch Recreation Center (1575 Galleria Dr.)
According to News 3, “Hourly pay starts at $12 and goes up to $17. Part-time employees can receive paid training, certifications, flexible work schedules, and more in addition to career advancement opportunities, the City of Henderson says.” Those interested in obtaining one of these positions must be at least 16 years of age and are encouraged to apply online in advance of the upcoming job fairs.
