In Honor of Serena Williams B-Day: 10 New Moms of 2017
Ranked No. 1 in the world from 2002 to 2017 by the Women’s Tennis Association, it’s fair to say that Serena Williams is a powerhouse! Recently, she added a new title under her belt: Mom!
Serena welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Alexis, on September 1st. To honor the tennis champ’s birthday, here are 10 other new moms in 2017.
1. Laura Prepon
The star of Orange is the New Black and That ‘70s Show welcomed her first child with fiance Ben Foster during the summer.
2. Nikki Reed
Reed and Ian Somerhalder welcomed their baby girl, Bodhi Soleil Reed, on July 25th. This was the couple’s first child and they stated, that they are madly in love with her.
3. Lauren Conrad
Lauren Conrad now adds the title of Mom to her laundry list of accomplishments. She and William Tell announced their baby boy’s birth by needlepoint picture on July 5th.
4. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
On June 24th, Rosie and Jason Statham welcomed their baby boy Jack Oscar Statham into the world. Rosie made sure his Instagram following got a preview of their baby’s adorable hands.
5. Amal Clooney
Amal and George Clooney welcomed twins, Ella and Alexander, on June 6th.
6. Elvira Lind
Director Elvira Lind gave birth to her first child with Star Wars star Oscar Isaac. They announced the news at The Tribeca Film Festival when they showed a video of her cradling their new baby.

7. Irina Shayk
Supermodel Irina Shayk and movie star Bradley Cooper secretly gave birth over the summer. There’s not a lot of information on the baby yet, but we are sure it’s going to be adorable!

8. Hota Kotb
The Today Show anchor adopted her first child earlier this year! Adopting the baby girl, named Haley Joy Kotb, was an emotional experience for the star, but was overly worthwhile.
9. Janet Jackson
On January 3rd, the singer welcomed her first child. Janet’s new baby boy, Eissa Al Mana was an easy and stress-free delivery.
10. Heidi Montag
Another two Hills alumni who are welcoming their first child! Montag’s baby boy with Spencer Pratt is expected to arrive this October.
