Carrie Underwood Updates Fans After Undergoing Surgery
Carrie Underwood took to Twitter this morning to let her fans know she is recovering after undergoing surgery.
I just wanted let everyone know that I’m doing great. Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well...even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on...I’m so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who’ve been taking such great care of me.

In true Carrie fashion, the country star didn’t miss the opportunity to crack a joke during the update.
As many of you know, Underwood broke her wrist in a fall outside her home on Friday evening.
As a result, she was unable to perform at a scheduled appearance that night. Instead, she was treated at a nearby hospital in Nashville for her injuries.
