Take A Look At Jimmy Garoppolo, The Las Vegas Raiders Sexy New QB
After Derek Carr left Las Vegas, the question on everybody’s mind was who will be the next quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders? Aaron Rodgers name was tossed around, but it seemed like the New York Jets have him cornered. Well… now we have our answer. The stunning Jimmy Garoppolo!
Jimmy G, as he is lovingly referred to, played back-up to Tom Brady with the Patriots for years and later helped bring San Francisco to three NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl. Injury had him put on the backburner, where a stud backup by the name of Brock Purdy seems to have made enough waves to stay put.
Garoppolo has history with Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels. He was Jimmy’s offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2016 during one of McDaniels’ stints with New England.
The move was a necessary one, with not only Carr, but backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham leaving the team headed for Denver. The parking spot that said “reserved for Quarterback” was fully vacant.
Jimmy G is no slouch
Jimmy has an all-time record of 44-19 as a starting quarterback over 63 games, all but a couple with San Francisco. His completion percentage is comfortably between 67 and 68%, although his games started record has been rough. Jimmy only started 6 games as quarterback in 2020 after suffering a high ankle injury, and only 11 games in 2022 after sustaining an injured foot.
While Garoppolo has been overlooked a bit in the quarterback free agent-palooza that is underway right now in the NFL, there is no question the Raiders have picked up the most handsome quarterback in the league. Seriously, look at him! We assembled some photos to prove to you that if looks could win championships, we are on our way to a dynasty!
