Screaming Dancing Goat at Hobby Lobby Takes Internet by Storm
Major retailers consistently impress with their unique holiday décor and toys. Both Home Depot and Lowe’s feature a variety of towering holiday-themed animatronics and inflatables, ranging from the popular 12-foot-tall skeleton to a life-sized Dr. Seuss character, The Grinch. Last month, shoppers on TikTok were sharing videos showcasing “Lewis” an 8-foot-tall figure in Target’s Halloween section. This figure sports a pumpkin-shaped head and a black cloak outfit. Hobby Lobby has also made waves with a dancing and singing goat that performs “Jingle Bells.”
The singing goat has made a reappearance this year, marking its return after a viral appearance on Hobby Lobby’s shelves. On November 2, TikTok user @kourtneyganzer posted a video of the “Singing & Dancing Animated Goat” that she discovered at the arts and crafts supply store.
In the video, the goat playfully dances in circles, vigorously shaking its head while singing a somewhat typical, albeit high-pitched rendition of “Jingle Bells.” However, it playfully interrupts the song with hilarious screams when it reaches the words “sleigh,” “way,” and “tonight.”
“This screaming goat had my grandma and i cry-laughing at Hobby Lobby for 5 minutes,” they wrote.
One TikTok user chimed in the comments writing, “I need Screaming Goat (Taylor’s Version) [laughing emoji],” in reference to Taylor Swift’s popular song “Trouble,” humorously edited with a goat screaming.
Another viewer commented, “The way it stops to scream [laughing emoji].” Someone else wrote, “Laughing all the WAAAAYYYY.”
Yet another TikTok user shared, “Not me running to Hobby Lobby the second I’m off work,” While another enthusiastically declared, “I’ve never needed something more [laughing emoji].”
For those eager to purchase the “Singing & Dancing Animated Goat” online priced at $19.99, it is currently out of stock on Hobby Lobby’s website. However, it may be worth checking their physical stores for this popular goat. Alternatively, Tractor Supply offers a similar product.
