The special, titled Carrie Underwood: Reflection, showcases her greatest hits and extravagant production with special effects and state-of-the-art technology. The scenes will blow those who haven’t seen the show out of the water. Since the show debuted in December 2021, Underwood has been racking up some really positive press.
It is one of those shows that reminds you that, oh damn, the girl has chops and a laundry list of amazing songs to match. We are fortunate enough to live next door to the venue here in Las Vegas but if you have yet to see the show, we’d encourage you to do it quickly. Carries three-year run is set to wrap up on April 12.
The concert special, executive produced by Gary Goetzman and Tom Hanks, should really be the start of a trend in this city. If a production is set to go dark, why not give people the chance to watch it after it wraps? The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, we are looking at you.
This Is The Beginning Of An Exciting Time For Carrie
The cool thing is the special is expected to highlight Underwood’s role as a judge on American Idol, where she joins Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Ryan Seacrest for the upcoming season premiering on March 9. It will be an incredible return home for the country singer who won American Idol back in 2005 – a full 20 years before she becomes a judge.
We strongly suggest seeing the Carrie Underwood Las vegas residency before she goes, but if not at least there’s another way to watch.
