Active-Duty? These Las Vegas Museums Are Free This Summer
There is truly not enough we can do for those who choose to serve our country. Active-duty military personnel and their families risk everything to protect us and there aren’t enough words we can say or actions we can show to thank them. That isn’t stopping several Las Vegas area museums from trying with free tickets.
Several museums have teamed up with an initiative through the National Endowment For The Arts called Blue Star Museums to offer all active-duty personnel and their families free entry.
Which Las Vegas museums are offering free entry?
There are several museums offering free entry to those currently serving their country and up to five family members. They include:
- The Neon Museum
- Springs Preserve
- Nevada State Museum Las Vegas
- Burlesque Hall Of Fame
- Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City

How can active-duty military personnel get into Las Vegas area for free?
Armed Forces Day is Saturday, May 20th. From then until Labor Day, Monday September 4th, all active duty service members and up to five family members will receive free admission to the museum.

While the Blue Star Museums initiative only covers active duty personnel, they suggest you contact the museums directly as many often offer up specials for veterans and retirees.
