Nevada Seeing More UFOs Than Ever: Study
Is there something else out there? It turns out a lot of people nationwide seem to think they’ve seen something not of this world, and a new study says Nevada is seeing more in the last five years than ever.
Historically, Nevada finds itself in the middle of the pack when it comes to total UFO sightings, according to the National UFO Reporting Center. Nevada is 27th on the all-time list with 1605 sightings. California takes the cake at 15,401 sightings historically, about double Florida which lands in 2nd place.
What does new polling show?
The survey by myvision.org suggests the home of Area 51 seems to be seeing more UFOs than ever before. According to the study which surveyed 1,000 Americans, Nevada has seen a bump in the number of UFO sightings. The Silver State lands at #17 for the “UFO Sightings in the last five years” category, with 332. That’s about 21% of the all-time sightings. States like Idaho and Utah saw a larger percentage.
The poll also found that more than 1 in 10 have seen a UFO or something else “extraterrestrial”. A third think the feds captured an alien already. Whether their sightings are just more SpaceX Starlink satellites entering orbit or the real deal is anyone’s guess.
The thought of unidentified flying objects being real used to be quite the eyeroll. Remember Russell on Independence Day played by Randy Quaid? Remember Tom DeLonge getting shown out of Blink-182 and focusing on extra terrestrials? Well, NASA just put together a team to study “unidentified aerial phenomena”. Oh, and Tom reunited with Blink. It’s a joke no more.
What do you think? Do we have the whole universe to ourselves or are we getting spied on by beings from another planet?
