Chambord Kir Royale Recipe {VIDEO}
You should always have a bottle of champagne because you should always be ready to celebrate. And honestly, there is always something to celebrate.
If you want to put a tasty spin on your glass of champagne though, you can make it a Kir Royale. Sounds fancy? It is………but it’s so easy!
What is needed to make a Kir Royale?
Chambord – it’s a black raspberry liqueur with a cognac base. You can put it in martinis, margaritas, and champagne.
Champagne – Use whatever bubbly you prefer. You can use Processco too. Prosecco is sometimes more affordable.
Raspberries – I use raspberries but you can use an orange twist or a lemon twist. All work great.

When is the perfect time to drink a Kir Royale?
Honestly, as I said, there is never a bad time to celebrate. Champagne is good in the winter, spring, summer, and fall 😉 I’m not kidding when I tell you, you can have a Kir Royale on New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, or just while floating in the pool on a hot summer day. (Make sure you use a plastic cup in the pool though)
Directions:
- First put in the bottom of your champagne glass 1/2 ounce of Chambord
- Fill the rest of the glass with champagne or Prosecco.
- Top with raspberries, orange twist, or lemon twist.
- ENJOY your delicious refreshing fancy cocktail.
Let us know if you try this recipe or please, share recipes you have of your own using Chambord. If you haven’t used Chambord before – go get yourself a bottle and experiment with different wines and liquors. It’s such a fun addition to a lot of cocktails you probably already enjoy. Cheers!!
