Golden Knights To Broadcast Games Through Scripps Sports
How many times have you wanted to watch a Vegas Golden Knights hockey game and not been able to? Pretty frequently, right? We all love watching our team play their hearts out, but without a free, available broadcast of the game, we aren’t always able to watch and cheer them on. Fortunately, those days will soon be far behind countless VGK hockey fans. History is about to made through a brand new deal with the Golden Knights and Scripps Sports.
The parent company of KTNV, Scripps Sports, has announced a partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights. It’s a partnership that is the first of its kind with the parent company, and now, according to KTNV, “all non-nationally exclusive VGK games on cable, satellite, and over-the-air television.”
This deal with the Golden Knights will serve VGK’s fanbase free, televised games through channel 34. KMCC channel 34 “will be rebranded as an independent station before the 2023-2024 NHL season begins.” By next season, Vegas Golden Knights fans will be able to enjoy games for free across numerous major cities in five states – Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming!
Not only will fans be able to enjoy the games themselves on channel 34, but they will also be able to watch pregame and postgame coverage, as well as local and national news, local sports, and additional entertainment programming.
With the announcement of this historic deal with Scripps Sports, Vegas Golden Knights fans will now be able to partake in the history themselves and action of the game through the free broadcast, which has never been done before. I guess this is just another reason why the Vegas Golden Knights are the best. Hockey fans rejoice – Go Knights Go!
