The Man Tried To Burn Down His House Because Of Spiders
The man tried to burn down his house because of spiders and I am that man. It can only be described as a bizarre case of arachnophobia, Altoona, Pennsylvania police arrested Joshua Jenkins for using a blowtorch to try and kill spiders. Yes, you read that right. Jenkins was apparently so scared of the eight-legged bugs that he resorted to using a blowtorch to eliminate them, not thinking about the potential consequences obviously. His home caught on fire, and he had to call 911. But his troubles didn’t end there. When the police and firefighters arrived, he became combative and lied about using the torch. Because… would you tell the truth if you did that? The fire inspectors eventually found the butane torch and charged Jenkins with arson.
It’s no secret that most people are not fond of spiders. Some people are deathly afraid of them and will go to great lengths to get rid of them. However, using a blowtorch to kill spiders is a bit extreme, to say the least. If you have a spider infestation problem, it’s always best to seek professional help. And if you try to use a blowtorch inside your house to get rid of spiders you should also seek professional help.
I can relate to Joshua though. I was in the shower the other day and something big and black flew past my face. I screamed and then realized it was a moth. A BIG ONE. It was on my towel flapping its wings to try to get the water off. I tried to flip my towel over the shower curtain so it would go out of the shower and it flew at my face and I slipped and fell backward all of the shampoo and conditioner fell on top of me and I have a big bruise on my back.
Me. I am Joshua.
