Las Vegas Back To School Event Offers Free Dental, Supplies
It is crazy to think about, but we are a little more than a month away from the kiddos going to class again. Ronald McDonald House is offering a free Las Vegas back to school event in July that will get them ready.
From Monday, July 8th through Friday, July 12th, the Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House joins forces with Speedway Children’s Charities and Nevada Health Centers for their Smarts & Smiles Back To School Dental Fair.
Anyone 21 and under can come by Ronald McDonald House at 2323 Potosi Street from 8am-5pm each weekday to get free dental services. That’s totally free. No insurance necessary. That is a huge deal for those who are financially pinched or for younger ones who are uncovered. Talk about something to smile about!
Now, you will definitely need to make an appointment for free dental care at this Las Vegas back to school event. You can do so by calling 1-800-787-2568.
Las Vegas Back To School Event Offering More Than Dental Services
Best part is free dental services is just where it starts.
There will be free vision screenings for kids and adults alike at certain times during the five day event. Plus every kid that gets a dental treatment will also get set up with a backpack stuffed with school supplies! This Las Vegas back to school event is going on its 10th year!
The only bad news for the kids? School is coming quickly.
When Do Classes Get Underway In Las Vegas?
If you haven’t gotten your hands on the Clark County School District 2024-25 schedule yet, here’s the PDF. Monday, August 12th, exactly one month after this Las Vegas back to school event ends, is when the CCSD school year gets underway. That’s a full three weeks before Labor Day.
The kids will remain in class through Friday, May 23rd (which is way better than ending the year on a Monday like it had last year).
Hit the books kids. It’s time to get back to class.
