New Las Vegas Master Planned Community Coming In 2025
To say that Southern Nevada has been exploding in population over the last 40 years and in particular the last decade would be an understatement. The area is still booming and that’s why a newly announced Las Vegas master planned community is getting ready to break ground early next year.
Centennial Hills Getting Newest Las Vegas Master Planned Community
Tucked at the end of Centennial Parkway and west of nearly everything in the valley will stand a new Las Vegas master planned community named “Skye Summit,” which will be home to roughly 3000 homes. Olympia Companies, the developer behind Skye Canyon, will be behind the project.
At elevations upwards of 3200 feet above sea level, the community is sure to offer pretty great views (hence the “Summit” in the name). The only community further west in the Las Vegas valley proper would be Summerlin West. Everything else will land east.
Data shows that Southern Nevada is at a deficit when it comes to housing (compared to the number of people living here), so there is definitely a need for more homes.
According to Zillow.com, the average home price in the Centennial Hills area lands around $450,000. Not the incredible value that buyers may have received a decade ago, but still within reach for some buyers. Even further in reach with interest rates continuing to slide southward.
Great Place To Live
The Centennial Hills neighborhood is booming and the perfect location for the newest Las Vegas master planned community. The amount of growth in the area for both residential and commercial has been impressive and the area has become a great place to start a family.
The drive from the area of the new Skye Summit community and Downtown Las Vegas is around 19 miles, a 23 minute journey down Interstate 11.
