Blue Man Group Laid Off By Cirque Du Soleil
Monday marked the (temporary) end of Las Vegas’ iconic Blue Man Group. The cast & crew were informed of their termination from Cirque du Soleil, according to The Review-Journal.
Cirque du Soleil acquired the Blue Man Group in July 2017. Although the blue trio and crew members are out of work, it’s only temporary.
“We have every intention to reopen the show when government guidelines allow,” said a Cirque spokeswoman.
The Blue Man Group show inside the Luxor has remained dark throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. It made its debut in Vegas in 2000.
