Parrot Plays Roulette At Las Vegas Casino, Does VERY Well (VIDEO)

Las Vegas, where there’s a fortune won and lost on every deal, and at the roulette wheel! It’s what Vegas was built on… but usually it is the humans making the wagers. However when hilarious UK YouTuber Max Fosh came to town he wanted to play roulette in a different way. With a parrot by his side telling him what to bet.

The mission was simple enough. Rent a talking parrot from an animal handler in town and find a casino to play at. The parrot? That was the simple part. Max came across Pablo the parrot who was capable of giving a “yes” and a “no” to questions, seemingly at random. Finding the casino to play at, however, was a tough operation. No casino on the Las Vegas Strip wanted a piece of the parrot’s action, despite the fact Max was going to wager his own, real money.

So where does one go when you are a side show? They went Downtown. The Plaza in particular who determined the money plays, the parrot stays, and wheel spins!

How did the roulette playing parrot fare?

Better than you’d think. Max would ask the parrot “should I put it on red,” and the parrot would either answer in the affirmative (leading to a bet on red) or negative (bet on black). The plan was for Max to make increasingly higher bets and… the parrot started off six for six!

As the wagering continued, however, things became a little less rosy. The parrot was down, and so too was Max’s bankroll. Leading to an all or nothing moment that will make you laugh.

Props to the Plaza for letting the moment happen, and the next time Max Fosh is in town, he should tell us!

It has been a constant merry-go-round of illness on Aimee+Shawn lately! Shawn had strep throat. Then he had brutal food poisoning. Aimee hasn’t been fairing better and she’s starting to feel sick too! What is going on? Regardless, there were some good shows in betwixt the illness, and we’ve created a compilation of the best bits right here!

Aimee was out the day after Easter, and Sammi stepped up to the plate, fresh off the Frontier Airlines flight from hell! Why she promises to never fly them again… except she did the next weekend. So much for that boycott.

Shawn’s wife got bit by the neighbor’s dog, which gave Sammi PTSD from her past dog biting incident, and it turns out several of our listeners have been on the wrong end of a dog’s teeth.

When Aimee did get back from her Cali road trip, she had plenty to report on. Including the road trip itself. Turns out she has “rules of the road trip” with her husband. Essentially, he does the driving, she doesn’t get to stop to pee, and everyone is happy.

Before Shawn got strep, his son got it. But if it wasn’t for his mother’s intuition, they may have never checked for strep at all. Why Shawn turned his car around and went back for the test.

Someone hit Aimee’s car in the parking lot, and the conversation that followed was some of the most awe-inspiring stupidity she’s ever heard. Why is the talk after a fender bender always so awkward?
