Erika Jayne Stunts Sass, Vegas Glamour And Debuts ‘Drip Drop’ With New Residency
Miss “Pretty Mess”, none other than, Erika Jayne, debuted her Bet It All On Blonde: The Las Vegas Residency over the weekend. As her six mantra words Fantasy, Love, Escape, Glitz, Glamour and Fun, describe exactly what fans can expect to see. Tucked away in the corner of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino inside the House Of Blues Las Vegas, is a party that only a Real House Wives reality TV star can throw on.
She’s feeling “relieved and pleased” that opening night, “came off beautifully.” Her residency performance pays tribute to her time on broadway, yet is a “rebuild and rebirth” experience. As Erika has gone through hard times and tribulations over the past couple of years she’s pushing through to accomplish all of her goals and dreams.
Pre-rituals took a backseat for night one but before broadway, “No regrets” by Edith Piaf was a go-to track for Erika before taking center stage. Similar to Erika’s “How Many F***s?” the Piaf track has a “no f***s” attitude which Erika appreciates. Inspiration for the “Roller Coaster” singer comes from “showman” artists like Madonna, Prince and Michael Jackson but The Bet It All On Blonde: The Las Vegas Residency has further influence from Erika’s appreciation for MGM musicals, Vegas showgirls and the “Gentleman Prefer Blondes” mindset.
The last couple of seasons for RHWBH was hard for the entertainer and to still have fans support and constant showing up meant the world to her, “that’s why I want to perform my heart out for those who showed up for me,” says Erika. Night one’s crowd was filled with a mix of Hollywood and Vegas’ finest who chanted the lyrics in full support.
Erika’s playlist consists of classics, fun nostalgic covers and new songs. “Painkillr”, “How Many F***s?” and “Cars” are bops OG fans know and love. Erika spoiled the audience with a new breathy track that oozes fantasy. The track is called, “Drip Drop” which is set to release September 17 on all streaming platforms.
