Durango Casino Las Vegas Announces Anticipated Opening Date
For years, a vacant dirt lot sat in the southwest valley of Las Vegas with a sign indicating the property was owned by Station Casinos. Las Vegas locals all knew that this vacant dirt lot would one day be converted into another fabulous Station Casino property for the southwest valley to enjoy.
Eventually, development of the land began. And after years of watching construction crews put their blood, sweat, and tears into the soon-to-be Durango Casino & Resort, an anticipated opening date has officially been announced!
Durango Casino & Resort, located on Durango Drive right off of the 215 Beltway, is anticipated to officially open to the public on Monday, November 20th. Just in time for locals to check it out over their thanksgiving break (if they’re lucky enough to get one). However, it is important to note that this anticipated opening date is not set in stone. The November 20th opening date is only “pending regulatory approval,” according to Station Casinos.
Las Vegas locals in the southwest portion of the valley have been anxiously waiting for the Station Casinos property to open, as the casino/resort is set to offer numerous dining and entertainment options. Durango Casino & Resort will serve as home to 15 various restaurants with a dining hall included in the mix. With over 200 rooms available for booking, a resort pool featuring cabanas for guests, available conference and meeting spaces, and so much more, Durango Casino & Resort is going to be bringing it ALL to the southwest Las Vegas Valley.
Whether your a tourist or local alike, the Station Casinos property is certainly one you’ll want to explore. Fingers crossed the property is able to open on its anticipated opening date of Monday, November 20th.
