Take The Nevada DMV Driver’s License Test In Your Underwear
Drivers in Nevada leave a little to be desired. High speeds, running red lights, and driving at night without the lights on are regular occurrences. Everyone could probably benefit from taking the driver’s license test over again. Sadly, that won’t be happening. But the Nevada DMV has made it easier to take the test – at home!
For the low price of $6.75, skip the trip to the Department of Motor Vehicles and take the test online. The service is called KnowTo Drive and it allows you to take a one hour long crack at the test per day. Flunk? Congrats, you’ll fit in fine. However you’ll need to take the test again. Thankfully you can come back to the site the next day and do it again. Less of these testers at the DMV, more space for the rest of us looking to get things done.
How can the Nevada DMV give the driver’s license test online?
It is worth noting, this is the written test. People that aspire to be drivers will get their shot at the written portion of testing. They will hold the tests in both English and Spanish. So far, testing has shown that the online service has about the same success rate as testing that takes place in the DMV.
You will be required to have a front facing camera though, so while you can test in your underwear it might not be recommended.
When all is said and done, if you pass you’ll be given the next steps to get your license and to join the millions of other Nevadans that risk their lives every day. If you’re looking for some cheat sheets and tips, the Nevada DMV has a bunch of options for you on their website, including a practice test you can take a few cracks at before you fork over cash for the real thing.
